Tim Edey

A double BBC Folk Award winner including Musician of the year Tim Edey is one of the most in demand and highly regarded guitarists in the celtic-world music fields with a cv that many would dream of. Tim’s guitar style is totally unique and playing mainly a nylon string guitar he goes from lightning fast picking to intricate rhythm in a heartbeat, able to play the celtic slow airs with the emotion&feel, learnt from hours of playing with&learning from Paddy Moloney of The Chieftains, drawing influences from Ry Cooder whom Tim has performed with, his father Richard and his mentor Australian/Irish guitarist Steve Cooney.
