Mark is a young luthier with an impressive 13 years of experience, after his extensive studies he set up his own workshop in 2017.
Based in the South East of Scotland. Mark utilises traditional methods of construction, individually hand crafting both Steel String and Nylon Classical guitars.”

Jacob Menear Guitars
‘JKM Guitars is run by Jacob Menear, a luthier who has been studying and making guitars for over 16 years. Having completed degrees in Musical Instrument Technology at university, getting a BSc and an MA, he then relocated to Northern Ireland to work at Lowden Guitars before leaving to set up JKM Guitars in 2020. He specialises in making guitars with a more modern approach to design and construction, and even made the Lute used by Chris Pine in the film ‘Dungeons and Dragons: Honour Among Thieves’.”
