Brigitte is a singer songwriter in the Americana genre. Her music has been described as acoustic soul, with blues and folk tendencies, and a hint of gospel. Sometimes greasy, sometimes easy, with an emphasis on lyrics. Chris Wood (Wood Brothers) described her as “Bob Dylan meets Sly Stone”. Those are some pretty big compliments but she will take ’em! Anyway, feel free to take a listen here on her site, read reviews or see video. In the past year, it’s been a busy time for Brigitte; launching her son off to college, travels taking her to Italy, frequently to New York City and Nashville, Las Vegas, Chicago, and most recently Oklahoma, all the while actively pursuing her equestrian life of training and showing. As Brigitte says “(No I’m not a horse trainer, I’m the one in training)”. That said, with the house a little more quiet, she now finds herself inspired and back in the music saddle. With pen, piano, and guitar in hand, as well as some collaborations, new music is brewing and she is getting ready to sing out again.  Brigitte is looking forward to returning to the UK in Fall of 2025, where she is excited to play the Ullapool Guitar Festival in Scotland in October, and will be accompanied by guitar master Clive Carroll.
